THE Medway-based Invicta Dynamos ice hockey team are close to announcing more names to their 2007/8 roster.

The Mos have been steadily building in the close season, with the arrivals of forward Ken Forshee, defenceman Tim Smith and netminder Glen Jackson being supplemented by last season’s regulars Grant Baxter, Anthony Lennon and Karl Lennon.

New captain Baxter said at least one more name will be announced next week, and is pleased at the progress the club is making.

"We were initially a bit concerned about what sort of team we could put together for next season because of people’s work commitments," he said.

"But we’ve found a lot of people have been able to guarantee their commitment. We’ve got some good names on board and there will be more to come.

"Hopefully with the team we have got, we’ll be able to have a good season and be competitive in the cup games."
