THE Medway-based Invicta Dynamos ice hockey squad have a double header this weekend with Slough Jets in the Premier Cup. The home tie will be at the Ice Bowl in Gillingham on Sunday.

After the previous week’s title celebrations, Dynamos suffered disappointment last Sunday.

They lost 7-2 away to Chelmsford in the English National Premier League Cup but player-coach Phil Chard still believes the experience gained is priceless.

He said: “As the only amateur side in the competition, it’s a good barometer for us. The Chieftains are a good team and their four imports make a huge difference.”

Gary Dodds and Jon Gray got the Kent side's goals.
