CHARLTON have renewed interest in Valencia’s unsettled Italian-born striker Bernardo Corradi.
The club were first linked with the 28-year-old, 6ft 3in Italian international in January when they attempted to sign him on loan following a fall-out with manager Claudio Ranieri, who has since left the club.
Now manager Alan Curbishley has disclosed he watched him three weeks ago.
“He’s one of many players I’ve looked at and we’re interested,” said Curbishley, who is looking to make wholesale changes to his squad before the start of next season.
Siena-born Corradi cost £2,500,000 when he moved from Chievo to Inter-Milan in June, 2002. He was transferred from Lazio to Valencia for an undisclosed fee in July but has struggled to settle.
