Great Britain Olympic hockey star Ashley Jackson is in bullish mood ahead of the tough clash against European Champions the Netherlands in Pool B in Beijing tomorrow.
The 20-year-old from Kings Hill, West Malling, scored the third goal in GB's superb 4-2 win over three-time Olympic champions Pakistan in the early hours of Monday.
The attacking midfielder said: "The first game went really well - job done. It has obviously given us a real confidence boost for tomorrow."
The game against the Dutch - who won their opening game 5-0 against South Africa - will take place at 2pm BST at the Olympic Green stadium.
The former Tunbridge Wells and current East Grinstead player said: "I am looking forward to the game against one of the best teams in the world, in the biggest tournament in the world, so it should be pretty amazing and I am really looking forward to it.
"I am trying not to think about the rest of the week so much, just about the next match. I think if we take each match as it comes and don't get ahead of ourselves then we will be in for a hell of a tournament."
After the tournament the former Sutton Valence School pupil will move to Holland to play for HGC in The Hague.
He will line-up against one of his new teammates - the world's number one goalkeeper Guus Vogels - in Wednesday's match.
He said: "We will have to work hard to beat him, but it's just another challenge."
Jackson is the youngstes member of the 16-man squad in China for the Games.
