GILLINGHAM manager Ronnie Jepson insists he is not under any more pressure than he was at the start of the season.

This is despite a poor start which has seen the Gills slump to second bottom in League 1 after three straight defeats.

Jepson's side face fellow strugglers Walsall at Priestfield on Saturday and he has called on his players to show no signs of nerves.

He said: "I just hope the players don't go out and be nervous. I don’t mind taking a bit of flak for them as the buck stops with me.

"I share the supporters' frustrations at times. I just don't want them to give the players stick."
