Ronnie Jepson says the Rainham End's support gives his players a boost

Gillingham v Crewe Alexandra

RONNIE JEPSON has urged Gillingham fans to continue raising the roof ahead of Saturday's crunch game with Crewe at Priestfield.

The Gills boss praised supporters for the way they got behind his team in the 2-2 draw with play-off hopefuls Blackpool – a game Gillingham were unlucky not to win – and is hoping for more of the same.

He said: "The crowd kept behind us from the first minute to the last, especially the Rainham End where they never stopped singing.

"It created a good atmosphere and gave the lads a boost. It’s been a difficult season for them, but I just want them to stick with us, see us through, and hopefully things will get better for them."
