Gillingham v Crewe Alexandra
GILLINGHAM will be keen to take something from Saturday's clash against Crewe at Priestfield with tough away trips to Nottingham Forest and Carlisle to come.
A run of two wins in the last 12 matches has plunged the Gills down to 16th in the League 1 table and manager Ronnie Jepson will want his side to move themselves away from the relegation zone this weekend.
Jepson said: "It would be a big boost to get the win and I think the lads deserve a result for what they’ve put in during the last two or three weeks.
"At this time results are very important for us and as soon as we get the required amount on the board the better."
Crewe have won their last four away games, but will be missing top scorer Luke Varney, plus his strike partner Nicky Maynard. The pair have hit 30 goals between them this season.
