Gillingham v QPR

GILLINGHAM face their toughest pre-season challenge so far when Championship side Queens Park rangers visit Priestfield on Saturday.

World Cup keeper Kelvin Jack will be making his debut for the Gills as preparations for the club’s forthcoming League 1 campaign continue.

Jack, who appeared for Trinidad & Tobago in their final group match against Paraguay in Germany, will play with national team-mates Brent Sancho and Ian Cox.

Gills manager Ronnie Jepson is not too concerned about the result and is just looking forward to his side being given a decent work-out.

He said: "It’s going to be a good game and it will be a big test for the boys as QPR have some good quality.

"The result is not what is important – it’s more about fitness levels and looking at the balance of the team but it will be a good game for the fans."

Danny Spiller is back doing light training after an ankle injury but is unlikely to make the squad, although Duncan Jupp will return after missing the Emirates game.
