GILLINGHAM have been lifted by the news that goalkeeper Jason Brown wants to sign a new contract with the club when his current deal expires at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old stopper has re-established himself as the club's number one this season and made 22 appearances. He missed several matches due to injury but has been in fine form since his return.
