Kent captain Sam Billings has been named in England’s squad for the ODI series with India.
England have named a 14-player squad for the three-match series against India in Pune.
Billings recently joined the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League, which runs from April to the end of May, which rules him out of the opening weeks of the county season. The 29-year-old played for Sydney Thunder during the winter in Australia’s Big Bash League.
In September he scored his maiden ODI century for England, making a magnificent 118 against Australia.
The first match against India starts on Tuesday morning. The series continued in Pune with the second ODI on Friday, March 26 and concluding with the third match on Sunday, March 28.
