The proposal was to resume league action from April 10 to June 19.

Eighty-four clubs were entitled to vote but not enough wanted to carry on, with a two-thirds majority needed to pass the motion.

There were 43 clubs who wanted to carry on, 39 said they were against it and there were two votes not recorded.

Some clubs such as K Sports Reserves have already expressed their desire to play in a min-league or alternative competition.

The new KCL 21/22 season will start on Saturday, August 14 for all divisions.

Football from steps two to six had already been declared null and void. Clubs still involved in the London Senior Trophy and London Junior Cup can continue to play in both.
