Kent Cup holders handed home draw

No sooner have Liam Daish's Ebbsfleet won the Kent Senior Cup than the draw has been announced for this season's competition.

The Fleet beat Cray Wanderers in the delayed final last weekend and will start their defence at home to Andy Hessenthaler's Dover side.

Kent Senior Trophy winners Thamesmead are drawn at home to Ashford, Welling host Sittingbourne, who are now managed by former Wings striker Gary Abbott, while Bromley are at home to Dartford.

Barry Ashby's Margate side have been handed an away tie to Maidstone.

Other ties see Chatham entertain Folkestone, Ramsgate travel to last season's beaten finalists Cray Wanderers, Whitstable entertain Tonbridge.

There are five ties in the first round of the Kent Senior Trophy with Holmesdale entertaining Hythe, VCD at home to Bearsted and Lordswood hosting the newly-merged Milton & Fulston United.

West Wickham have home advantage over Norton Sports and Greenwich entertain Sevenoaks.
