CANTERBURY Cricket Week comes to St Lawrence on Wednesday when Kent do battle with Hampshire in two games in the space of five days.
Rob Key’s side had moved into third place in the Championship Division 1 after the home win over leaders Lancashire, but Hampshire have since moved above them after a 10-wicket win against Yorkshire on Friday.
Hampshire will hope to have skipper Shane Warne fit again following shoulder surgery.
The week concludes with a second clash between the Spitfires and the Hawks, this time in the NatWest Pro40 League Division 2 where Hampshire will bid to avenge Kent’s victories over them in the Twenty20 and C&G Trophy earlier in the season.
The game will start at 1.45pm.
