Kent's faithful kept waiting by Fleming

KENTY County Cricket Club have yet to announce who will captain or coach their side for the 2002 season. The appointment of a new director of cricket is being delayed by applications to the Home Office for a work permit, while Matthew Fleming has yet to decide whether he is happy to continue as skipper.

Both matters were on the agenda at the club's cricket committee meeting at St Lawrence this week but any decisions from there have to be ratified at the club's next general committee meeting being held next Thursday.
