ARMCHAIR cricket fans hoping to watch Kent on Sky Sports next season will be sadly disappointed by the satellite broadcaster’s schedule for the 2007 season.
In all, Sky Sports plan to televise a minimum of 59 domestic matches next summer but Rob Key’s Kent side only stand to feature in three games on Sky’s provisional list - all NatWest Pro40 League games.
The cameras will be at Grace Road on Saturday, July 14 for Spitfires’ clash with Leicestershire Foxes and at Sophia Gardens for the battle with Glamorgan Dragons in Cardiff on Friday, September 7.
Earlier that same week, Kent will be on Sky’s schedule for their floodlit clash with Surrey at the St Lawrence ground on the evening of Tuesday, September 4.
