MARGATE FC manager Chris Kinnear has revealed he would be deeply hurt if the club folded.

Kinnear has been at the club for eight years. In that time he has taken them from the Dr Martens League, southern division, into the Conference.

He said: “I care deeply about the club. We have gone from next to nothing to being the top part-time club in the Conference.

“We are one of the smallest clubs in the league and just to have stayed in it each season would have been an achievement let alone finish where we have done.”
