WORLD boxing champion Johnny Armour added some punch to the 10k and fun runs staged at Boughton near Faversham.
A week after retaining his WBU world bantamweight title, the Chatham boxer combined his training run with the chance to meet some fans as he handed out the prizes at the end of the morning.
The race honours went to Daniel Green, of Ashford and District, in the men's event, and Nicki Barron, of Deal Tri, in the women's.
Martyn Rouse, of Invicta East Kent, was second in the men's event, with Brian McNabb, for Canterbury Harriers, third.
Rachel Robinson was second in the women's for Canterbury Harriers, who won the women's team prize with Sarah Maguire and Julie Collins-Ballands completing the line-up.
Armour completed the 10k in a comparatively sedate 59min 39secs, just a week after retaining his WBU bantamweight world title in a fight against Francis Ampofo which left him with a broken bone in his left hand.
He said: "Obviously I do a lot of running in training, but it made a change to get out on a nice course and run in an event like this.
I'm feeling really strong, like I was 21 again."
