Cray Wanderers 3 - 3 Molesey

A FLURRY of late goals produced a 3-3 draw between Cray Wanderers and Molesey on Wednesday night.

A 29th minute strike from Drew Watkins and a 41st minute Matt Woolf penalty had put Cray in control at the break.

And although Phil Ruggles pulled a goal back for the visitors four minutes into the second half Cray went into stoppage time in front.

But then the game changed in the most dramatic fashion.

First, Ruggles produced a fine glancing header to equalise and then span and shot low into the corner to complete a stunning hat-trick.

But somehow the home side managed to rouse themselves and Adam Young made himself the hero with a deserved equaliser in the seventh minute of added time.

Cray: Northwood, Lee, Rawlings, Gray, Whelan, Baker, Watkins (Hall 88), Young, Woolf, Wood (Lovell 52), Bremner.
Subs Not Used: Lover, Khan, Jenkins.
Attendance: 123.
