Sheffied Utd 2 Gillingham 2
GILLINGHAM bounced back from Saturday's 6-0 horror show at Wolves to take a deserved point against FA Cup semi-finalists Sheffield United at Bramall Lane last night.
Had striker Mamady Sidibe not blundered away a hat-trick of golden opportunities, Gillingham would have extracted maximum points against a side unbeaten in their previous eight games.
Steve Kabba's goal a minute before half time gave United the lead but battling Gillingham fought back to equalise through Simon Osborn's first goal of the season in the 53rd.
Paul Shaw's 12th goal of the campaign in the 70th minute looked good enough for victory until United substitute Paul Peschisolido poached an 81st minute equaliser.
