Hampton & Richmond 3 Bromley 2

BROMLEY conceded two goals in the final 10 minutes as they suffered a 3-2 Blue Square South defeat at Hampton & Richmond on Saturday.

The home side took the lead when Shaun McCauley's dipping 20-yard effort was parried up in the air by Andy Walker but the ball crossed the line before the Lillywhites keeper to recover.

But Bromley were level within two minutes when Danny Hockton headed in Gareth Williams's cross at the far post.

And the visitors were ahead 10 minutes after the break when Nic McDonnell netted from close range after superb work by Hockton.

The Lillywhites were denied a strong penalty claim when the referee decided Hockon had been pulled down right on the edge of the box rather than inside and McDonnell blazed over after being put clean through by Sam Wood.

They were made to pay the full price for that miss when substitute Lawrence Yaku equalised in the 80th minute before another replacement, Glen Harris, stole the points with a looping header three minutes from time.
