ONE OF east Kent’s most progressive clubs are looking for an umpire as they prepare for a challenging summer of league cricket.

Nonington were champions of the Ashford and District League last year and this summer, for the first time, they will play in the Mid Kent League.

The club would prefer an umpire with some experience of league cricket, and say they can offer travelling expenses, or lifts to matches, plus teas.

Most fixtures are played on Saturdays with Mid Kent League matches starting at 1.30pm and the majority of Ashford League games at 2pm.
