BRANDS Hatch celebrates one of the golden eras of motor racing at the end of this month, as the Masters Historic Festival brings stunning Grand Prix and sports cars from decades past to the famous Kent circuit.
Top of the bill is the Grand Prix Masters series, where a selection of the most famous Formula 1 cars from the 1960s and 70s will fight it out on track.
BRM, Lotus, McLaren and Brabham are just some of the names going head-to-head, just as they did decades ago in the golden age of Grand Prix racing.
The World Sportscar, GT Endurance and Sports Racing Masters events are superb entertainment for fans of closed-top machinery, with some of the vehicles that came, saw and conquered the Le Mans 24 Hours, such as the Ford GT40, racing alongside other famous machines like Jaguar E-Types, AC Cobras, Corvette Stingrays and Shelby Mustangs.
Advance tickets for the Masters Historic Festival at Brands Hatch on May 27 and 28 are available from just £16, with on the gate tickets priced at £20. Admission is free for children aged 12 and under.
