Leon Legge is in a race to be fit for Gillingham on Sunday.
The defender injured his back in Gills’ 3-2 defeat at Crawley last Saturday and is rated doubtful ahead of this weekend's game against Coventry.
Gills boss Martin Allen said: “He will have a fitness test just before the weekend. He is 50-50.”
Callum Davies is on standby to partner Adam Barrett in central defence should Legge fail to be fit.
Definitely out is Charlie Lee, who serves a one game ban for his sending off last weekend, but Gills welcome back Michael Harriman.
The on-loan right-back returned from international duty with a clean bill of health.
Midfielder Amine Linganzi will be pressing for a start, having shaken off a hamstring injury and tonsillitis.
“He is a good player,” said Allen. “Danny Hollands should now be up to full match speed and it would be good to have him playing, Harriman playing and Amine playing. It is good to have that choice.”
