Life-long Gills fan taken ill

FORMER Gillingham Supporter of the Year Wally Abnett is said to be comfortable in Medway Hospital after being taken ill on December 29. Mr Abnett, 86, a life-long Gillingham fan, has been visited by a number of supporters.
