Bromley v St Albans City
Bromley manager Mark Goldberg has admitted the club are looking to make sensible cutbacks in the wake of the global financial crisis.
The Lillywhites face St Albans City in the Blue Square South at Hayes Lane on Saturday, but despite the on-going financial problems facing the country, Goldberg is confident of being able to put out a strong side.
"I believe we'll have a strong enough team on Saturday to grind out a win," he said.
"But we do need to cut back on the wage budget and we've asked some key players to take a drop in wages to make sure we come through the other side of the world financial crisis unscathed.
"The club needs to live within its means, and I'm backing the chairman 100 percent on this issue. If we have to play with a few key players and some youth team lads then we will.
"We don't want to destroy the six or seven years of progression the club has made, and if it means resetting our short term targets then so be it."
Bromley will look to put their recent run of poor form behind them when they take on St Albans City in the Blue Square South at Hayes Lane on Saturday.
The Lillywhites have won just twice in the last 13 games, and face a City side six places, and seven points, above them in the table.
