Gillingham v Bournemouth
Gillingham embark on a daunting schedule on Saturday with a run of games that will shape their season.
The Gills play seven matches over a 22-day period starting with the visit from relegation-threatened Bournemouth this weekend.
Tough trips to Luton, Accrington, Notts County and Grimsby await, along with visits from promotion-chasers Darlington and Shrewsbury but manager Mark Stimson is taking it all in his stride.
He said: “It’s beginning to get busy now and that’s good because I’m sure the players, like myself, enjoy the games rather than training.
“I only usually look at the next two or three games but there are some good games and it excites me.
“That’s where you can really make a name for yourself and that’s what these players can do this year.
“If they do it properly and get promotion, this group of players will be talked about for a long while."
Stimson knows the game against Bournemouth will be a tough one against a team trying to avoid the drop from League 2.
Gary Mulligan (groin) remains doubtful for the match but Rene Steer (groin) is expected to be fit.
