OUT-of-contract Nicky Southall’s agent has denied reports the 33-year-old midfielder is set to leave Gillingham to join newly promoted Hull City.

Mark Curtis admitted Southall had talks with Hull boss Peter Taylor a few weeks ago but said there had been no contact since.

He said: "There are a lot of people interested in Nicky Southall. He’s got experience, is a really fit lad and he’s great to have in the dressing room.

"He likes it at Gillingham but his options are open."
