Thamesmead recorded their first-ever Ryman League win with a 2-0 victory over Waltham Forest in Division 1 North on Wednesday.
Despite the Mead controlling the match in the first half, the game remained goalless at half-time. In the second half, Rikki Cable gave Thamesmead the lead after firing home from the penalty spot.
Harbingi Grant sealed the three points with a goal 10 minutes from time.
Chatham's miserable start to the season continued with a 4-1 home defeat by newly-promoted Division 1 North side Concord Rangers on Tuesday.
The visitors scored three goals inside the opening 31 minutes through Nick Cowley, Shane Oakley and Michael Begg.
Dan Larkin scrambled Chatham's lone goal in first half stoppage time. The scoreline remained the same until the 90th minute when Concord substitute Andy Hughes added a fourth.
Ashford Town swamped Leatherhead with a first half four-goal burst at Homelands with doubles from Mitchell Sherwood and Paul Jones.
Danny Lye gave them a good start with an eighth minute header and Sherwood doubling the tally on 24 minutes.
A second from Sherwood and Jones opening his tally in the last six minutes ensured it was virtually game over by half time.
Town wrapped up a convincing success with Jones netting his second three minutes from the end in a 5-0 win.
Folkestone Invicta came away from Whyteleafe with just a point as a controversial second half penalty denied them victory at Church Road.
Invicta had led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a James Everitt header after Andy Pugh had a penalty saved.
But the home side equalised with a 55th minute penalty from Steve MacNamara after a controversial decision from referee P Harris when Sean Rivers had gone down following a cross from left back MacNamara.
Everitt had opened the scoring with a strong 43rd minute header from a Jimmy Jackson free kick with his fourth goal of the season.
Cray moved up to fourth in the table with a 2-0 victory over fellow former Kent League side Whitstable.
A Tony Atkins header put them ahead on 25 minutes, before Steve Aris nodded in the second after the break.
Sittingbourne came back from falling two goals behind to earn a point against bottom side Crowborough in Division 1 South at Bourne Park on Monday night.
Bourne went a goal down on 22 minutes when Gavin Gordon drove the ball past Matt Read in the Brickies goal. They added a second on 75 minutes when Read punched a corner clear but David Soutar was well positioned to score.
Bourne pulled a goal back with 10 minutes left when Richard Brady found Dave Milton who scored. Bourne pressed for an equalised and it duly arrived with four minutes left when Brady picked out Elie Kayembe who fired past keeper Mark Oldroyd.
