Cray swept to an impressive 6-1 victory at Chipstead that saw them rise to third in the table.

Wands leapfrogged fellow Kent side Folkestone Invicta who drew 1-1 at Godalming.

Ian Jenkins' side are now level on points with second-place Met Police with a game in hand.

Their goals at Chipstead came from Tony Dolby, Scott Kinch (2), Mark Willy, a Colin Luckett penalty and an own goal.

Ten-man Folkestone had to fight back for their point at Godalming.

After Andy Ottley's superb effort put the home side in front, Liam Friend compounded Invicta's problems by getting himself sent off for an elbowing offence.

Despite the extra man, Godalming couldn't finish Invicta off, however, as Kieran Byrne's first goal for the club in the second half salvaged a draw.

In Division 1 North, Chatham lost for the fourth time in five matches, 2-0 at Brentwood.

Chatham enjoyed their best moments in the first half when defender Dan Larkin went close to breaking the deadlock with a header that was well-saved.

After the break, Chatham paid for a defensive slip which handed Brentwood the lead with 10 minutes gone. They added a second soon after which killed off the game.
