Adam Miller believes his impressive form is largely down to the impact of first team coach Mark Robson.
The 26-year-old has scored twice in the last three games and been a vital cog in the club’s recent resurgence.
Miller feels that Robson’s impact has been a boost for the club and himself.
“Robbo’s been brilliant and he’s brought another side to Gillingham,” said Miller.
“He gives you a confidence boost and any footballer will say that confidence is massive. He makes you feel like you can take on the world and do anything.
“I feel like he believes in me and my ability and he is so enthusiastic you want to work for him.
“He’s a pure football man and wants us to play the right way.”
Another factor helping Miller to impress is his improved fitness. He missed a period of pre-season while recovering from a hernia operation and knows he has more to offer.
“I’m getting stronger by the game,” he said. “I’ve got more to give and it’s a case of cementing my place in the team now.”
