Hayes & Yeading 6 Bromley 1
BROMLEY produced a hugely disappointing display as they were hammered 6-1 at Hayes & Yeading in Blue Square South on Saturday.
James Mulley's opening goal set the tone for the afternoon when he was let in by a bad mistake by Bobby Bowry, who lost possession cheaply.
Josh Scott made it 2-0 from the penalty spot 10 minutes before the break after he had been fouled by Mark Corneille.
The Lillywhites almost immediately grabbed a goal they hardly deserved when Wayne Wilson's wayward shot was cleverly deflected in by Danny Hockton, but the two-goal advantage was restored before half-time when Scott was allowed to waltz through the visitors' defence unchallenged.
Kieron Knight added a fourth before two fine goals in injury-time added gloss to the scoreline and left Bromley boss Simon Osborn fuming.
First, substitute Stafford Palmer lobbed from Andy Walker from 25 yards and then a magnificent dipping volley by Ram Marwa completed the rout.
