Ebbsfleet striker Luke Moore scored a clinical last minute winner to give his side maximum points at Crawley in Blue Square Premier on Thursday night.
The visitors were a goal behind with seven minutes left before Michael Gash brought them level and Moore hit a dramatic goal to clinch the points.
Fleet boss Liam Daish gave a debut to Matthew Delicâte who has linked up with the club after playing for the Rochester Rhinos in America’s USL for the last three seasons.
There was little to separate the sides during the opening half and, although Fleet played the better football, they were unable to trouble Crawley keeper Simon Rayner.
The visitors had a penalty appeal for handball turned down and went in at the break a goal behind when Sacha Opinel missed an attempt to clear a flick-on enabling Jon-Paul Pittman to nip in and tuck the ball away in the 33rd minute.
Fleet drew level with their first notable effort on goal. Gash jinked his way between two defenders before driving the ball low into the net with seven minutes left.
Then Moore ran at the Crawley defence and unleashed a powerful shot into the top left hand shot into corner with less than a minute left.
Fleet will be looking to build on the victory when the entertain Kettering on Sunday.
The game has been moved back 24 hours to Sunday due to them playing Crawley on Thursday night.
