AFTER an edgy 10-9 win at English National League South leaders Streatham Redskins, Invicta Dynamos aim to keep their unbeaten record intact against Haringey and Oxford this weekend.
Player-coach Kev Parrish said: "It's going to be a tough weekend. Although we beat Haringey 13-1 last time we were there, they drew 4-4 before Christmas with Streatham. I'm not sure if they have picked up new players but it looks likely so we can’t take the game lightly."
Following Saturday's trip to Haringey, new leaders Oxford City Stars visit Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday for the first clash between the two sides.
"The game speaks for itself, but if we defend like we did last weekend as a team, which was disgracefully, we will be in trouble," Parrish added.
"The forwards may have done well to get into double figures but they need to get back more to stop the defence being exposed. It will be quite a battle and I think it will either be another close, high-scoring game or we'll blow them away and set a precedent for the rest of the season."
