KEVIN PARRISH has praised the improving Bracknell Hornets, who have emerged as contenders for a top two placing in the English National Ice Hockey League, South B.
Parrish's Invicta Dynamos needed two goals in the last six minutes to record a 4-2 victory over the Hornets at the Ice Bowl on Sunday and he said: "They are definitely an improving side. They more than matched us on Sunday.
"It was a good, entertaining, end-to-end game. I think there will be four teams battling it out for those top two places now. It’s between Streatham, Haringey, Bracknell and us."
The win was Invicta’s eighth in the league, and preserved their 100 per cent record.
The Mos have an ENIHL Cup fixture at Romford on Saturday and a league clash with Chelmsford on Sunday.
Parrish said: 2Romford have an excellent coach now (Erskine Douglas) and will be very organised, and Chelmsford are the only team to have beaten Streatham."
Peter Carey is unavailable, but Ryan Giles and Matt Drake should return.
