INVICTA DYNAMOS coach Kevin Parrish is relishing the prospect of the club's "toughest weekend" of the season so far.

The Mos travel to Bracknell Hornets on Saturday before hosting Haringey Greyhounds at the Ice Bowl on Sunday for the English National Ice Hockey League Cup.

With both outfits among the stronger teams in their section, the weekend will provide a good indication of what season lies in store for Invicta.

Bracknell top the ENIHL South B, while Haringey won the southern play-offs last year.

Parrish said: "This is definitely our toughest weekend of the season so far. We are always going to concentrate on winning our league and cups, and these are two tough games.

"Last year was disappointing for Invicta standards, and we want to put that right.

"Playing in the EPIHL (English Premier Ice Hockey League) Cup is good for the club in terms of getting more home games and extra revenue in, but these are the games we really want to win."

Meanwhile, Elliott Andrews, the Dynamos' all-time leading goalscorer, has re-signed for the club after a four-year absence.

Parrish moved quickly to snap up the 32-year-old after he decided to leave Romford.

Andrews stepped down as the Raiders coach earlier this month following a difficult start to the season and although the club wanted to retain his services as a player, he decided to cut his ties.
