Mos rocked by netminder exit

MATT VAN DER VELDEN has left the Invicta Dynamos after just one game back at the club.

He cited a lack of passion for the game as the reason for his decision but coach Kev Parrish said the netminder was just taking a break after a rough couple of seasons and was hopeful he would be back.

The experienced netminder re-signed for the Mos after two seasons away from the Ice Bowl with spells at the London Racers and Milton Keynes Lightning on December 30 and played in the 6-3 defeat against Romford Raiders.

The 25-year-old spent three successful seasons with the Dynamos and was part of the Championship double squad.
