Gary Mulligan leads the attack for Gillingham Reserves against Millwall at Priestfield today.

Mulligan has been left out of Gillingham’s first team squad over Easter and he’ll be keen to show what he can do for the second string.

Winger Albert Jarrett also features. He has been on the verge of making the 16-man first team squad recently but he still needs to convince manager Mark Stimson he is ready to return.

Stimson’s reserve side also includes Crystal Palace youngster Ryan Carolan. The midfield is making his second appearance for the Gillingham reserves after playing in the 2-2 draw against Aldershot and he played against Stimson’s side last week for The Eagles.

Young Blackpool striker Jake Hobbs, who is in the second year of his apprenticeship at Bloomfield Road, is also included in the starting eleven. Cypriut defender Valentino Shielis, who is a former Doncaster player, is also making his second outing for the Gillingham reserve side.

Former Gillingham midfielder Danny Spiller lines up for Millwall.

Gills: Quinn, Payne, Steer, Essam, Shielis, Carolan, Geering, Howard, Mulligan, Hobbs, Jarrett. Subs: Bartrum, Daniel, Sargeant, Stimson, Murphy.
