Manager Terry Yorath has conceded Margate need to beat Billericay this weekend and pick up at least two other wins to have a chance of Ryman League Premier Division survival.
Gate drew 1-1 at Maidstone on Saturday and Yorath said: "The Billericay game is now a must-win for us.
"Time is beginning to run out. We’ll have to pick up at least three more victories to stand a chance of staying in the division.”
Yorath has also revealed his disappointment in on-loan Liam Harwood, after the defender decided to go back to former club Carshalton.
Yorath said: “We’d done a deal for him to stay with us, only for him to turn round and say the travelling was too much. This coming after he’d told me how much he loved playing for the club.”
