THE Invicta Dynamos ice hockey team will be looking towards their netminder to once again quieten the Milton Keynes Thunder at the Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday.
Carl Ambler was man of the match when the two sides met a fortnight ago, bouncing back from a nervy debut against Bracknell Hornets in the season's opener.
The England under-17s stopper currently tops the English National League (South) leading goaltenders charts with an impressive save percentage of 93.75.
Mos player coach Phil Chard said: "Carl had a rough time in game one, but it did not matter in the end and he more than made up for it against MK first time around. But for him in the first period we would have been in trouble.
"And he was awesome in practise on Tuesday. He stonewalled the whole team in a shoot-out session, nobody got past him. We have been working on getting our systems right and not relying too much on scrummaging for the puck and everyone is fit and ready for MK."
