Gillingham have moved quickly to solve their right-back problems.
Irishman Michael Harriman has joined on a 28-day loan from Championship side QPR.
Harriman spent time on loan at Wycombe last season, before making his full QPR debut on the final day of the Premier League campaign against Liverpool.
His first Premier League appearance came in the previous season, as a substitute against Wigan in August 2011. Harriman's first senior appearance was days earlier in a Carling Cup game against Rochdale.
He is likely to make his Gills debut against Bristol City in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.
Gills boss Martin Allen said: "Michael was superb for Wycombe last year when we played them here."
That game in February - televised live on Sky Sports - saw Wycombe win the game 1-0, with Harriman playing the full 90 minutes. He was a regular for the side in the second half of last season, making 19 starts and one sub appearance.
Allen is set to be without Charlie Lee (foot), Charlie Allen (foot) and Matt Fish (knee).
Fish was due to have a scan of his knee on Monday but the results are not yet know. His injury led to Allen making a move for Harriman.
Allen will include winger Ashley Miller and defensive midfielder Josh Hare in the squad on Tuesday, following their impressive displays for the reserves at Ebbsfleet on Saturday afternoon.
