Nottingham Forest v Gillingham

GILLINGHAM begin this afternoon's League 1 clash against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground without a recognised striker on the pitch.

Ronnie Jepson is without the suspended duo of Darren Byfield and Neil Harris, but has left both Gavin Grant and the returning Matt Jarvis on the bench.

It looks like midfielders Tommy Black and Danny Spiller are going to take on the attacking duties.

Club captain Chris Hope is recalled to the heart of the defence to partner Ian Cox so Leon Johnson must be content with a place among the substitutes.

There is also a place in the squad for Brent Sancho whose loan deal to Swansea fell through earlier in the week.
