SISTERS Hannah and Natalie Olson are among the top five under-20 female pole vaulters in the country, in the latest UK athletics rankings.
Hannah, 15, is the leading under-17 woman, with a best hight of 3.81m this year, and second only to Kate Dennison, of Stoke, with 3.90m, in the under-20 ranks, in which Invicta East Kent's Anne-Marie Price is 12th with 2.80.
Natalie, 17, is equal fourth at under-20, with 3.70.
The sisters, who live at Eastling, are among seven Ashford AC members highly placed in the national junior rankings.
High jumper Stevie Langford is equal seventh under-17 with 1.70m, and equal 13th under-20.
Laura Fox is fourth in the under-20 shot, with 11.93m, and ninth in the discus, with 43.23, while Sarah Dobriskey is 20th in the under-20 hammer, with 40.28.
Among the under-20 men, Nick Leavey is seventh nationally in the 400m, with a best of 47.83sec, and Matthew Hullyer 11th in the long jump with 7.17m.
