KELLY HOLMES may be fined £25,000 after pulling out of the AAA Championships in Sheffield.

The Kent athlete will face the punishment if organisers of this weekend's event decide she has provided no evidence to justify her absence.

The amount equates to a quarter of her indoor event earnings for the current domestic season.
