Only a win will do for Dynamos

Streatham Redskins v Invicta Dynamos

INVICTA Dynamos go into Sunday's play-off game at rivals Streatham Redskins knowing that only a win will keep their hopes of a final appearance in Coventry alive.

The Redskins split their two- game series with Cardiff last weekend to put themselves top of the group.

But an Invicta win would put the Dynamos level on points with their hosts. With just two games remaining, Invicta have to hope other results will go in their favour.

Invicta are still competitive in the ENIHL play-off South after an inspired Andy Smith hat-trick helped Dynamos beat the Peterborough Islanders 4-3 last Sunday.

Away from the play-off scene, Invicta face off against the Islanders again over the weekend of April 5 and 6, to decide who plays Kingston or Sheffield in the ENIHL Cup semi-finals. The Ice Bowl will stage the second leg of the tie.
