IFFY ONUORA believes it is not too late for Gillingham to push for promotion.
Onuora, who has spent almost two months in charge of the club in a caretaker role, was aiming high following Saturday's victory over Bristol Rovers.
He said: "I said to the players before the game that there's 102 points to play for and, after getting three on Saturday, there's still 99 more.
"If you get two-thirds of them where does that take you up to in the league come May?
"I'm a positive person, I try to play positively and act positive and I ask the players to have that way about them.
"I know we need to start picking up points away from home and that's the key to it."
