Opportunity knocks for ice team's nearly men

KEVIN PARRISH: keen for revenge against Streatham

INVICTA Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish is set to give a number of his fringe players more time in this weekend’s EPIHL Cup double header with Romford Raiders.

With a busy December looming, coach Parrish wants to ensure his squad are ready for the challenges ahead – particularly the return ENIHL Cup fixture with Streatham at the end of the month.

The Mos have struggled in the EPIHL Cup this season and Parrish thinks this weekend could be an opportunity for someone else to have a go.

He said: "We’ve got a tough schedule coming up and we want to get revenge on Streatham. We need to beat them by two clear goals.

"So whether we’ll have a full squad this weekend I’m not sure. It’s not that I want to rest players and I’m sure they’ll all want to play but I can’t risk them picking up any injuries.

"We’re not going to do anything in the EPIHL Cup this year, so this might be a chance to juggle things a bit, have a look at different lines, and let the players who maybe missed some ice time against Streatham show me what they can do."
