CHARLTON manager Alan Pardew has denied a national newspaper report that he was going to sign midfielder Scott Sinclair from Chelsea on loan for the rest of the season.

The quicksilver 18-year-old has just returned to Stamford Bridge after a period on loan with Queens Park Rangers.

Leicester City and Burnley are also said to be interested in Sinclair who, last season, scored four goals in 18 appearances for Plymouth.
