ALAN PARDEW has wasted no time in firing off a warning as Charlton faced up to life next season in the Championship following the multi-million pound loss of Premiership status.
The Addicks boss stressed: "Next season, egos will have to be put to one side because if you take that into the Championship, you are going to get found out."
He would not elaborate but emphasised that a strong team spirit would be the key to Charlton bouncing back at the first time of asking.
He added: "We have staff with the experience of that division and we'll be looking to sign players in the summer market who can play 46 games."
