HEAD coach Kevin Parrish has launched a scathing attack on his players after the Invicta Dynamos lost their opening two ENIHL play-off matches.

A heavy 8-3 defeat to Peterborough Islanders last Saturday was followed up by Sunday’s 2-1 loss at home to Streatham Redskins.

Mos are currently bottom of the Southern Group play-off league and return to action against Peterborough at the Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday.

Parrish said: "I’m disappointed as it was a bad performance. The mistakes we made on Saturday are the kind of mistakes I wouldn’t expect my under-12s teams to make.

"We were 5-1 down at the end of the first period and from there you are facing a big uphill climb. It’s like trying to climb Mount Everest in a pair of slippers. We haven’t made mistakes like that for two or three years."
