Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish has called for his players to focus on one game at a time as they reach a pivotal stage in their ENIHL South 1 title challenge.
The Dynamos travel to Peterborough on Saturday before entertaining Oxford on Sunday and despite the squad being on a 21-game unbeaten streak and knowing a title winning party is there for the taking on March 1 in Milton Keynes, Parrish isn’t taking anything for granted.
He said: “We’ve got games we have to win against Peterborough and Oxford before we can start thinking about Milton Keynes.
“Despite our 16-3 against them, the squad Peterborough have isn’t as bad as that scoreline suggests.
“Oxford will also be tough. Both teams are still fighting it out for a play-off spot and we could still slip up if we look too far ahead.
“The title is ours to lose. If we stay professional, we’ll be all right.”
Lewis Burke suffered a facial injury last week and his fitness will be assesed ahead of the weekend.
AJ Smith could return against Oxford but Karl Lennon is set to spend another weekend on the sidelines.
